Job summary

Newport News Nuclear BWXT Los Alamos (N3B) is seeking a Subcontract Technical Representative 4/5 in Los Alamos, NM. The role manages technical oversight of subcontractors for moderate/high-hazard work, ensuring safety, security and quality requirements are met under the subcontract.

The STR reports to the Senior Manager, Subcontractor Technical Representative and supports policy implementation, training, and qualification across programs, while maintaining effective stakeholder communications

Qualifications

• Develop and apply highly advanced principles, concepts and techniques of project management.
• Advanced experience in leading integrated project teams and stakeholders to implement the appropriate path to achieve regulatory closure of each site.
• Advanced technical leadership and expertise specifically in the subject matters related RCRA, environmental site investigation, characterization and remediation.

Responsibilities

• Oversee subcontractor performance and safety within contract terms.
• Coordinate training, site orientation, work packages and SME reviews.
• Maintain effective communication between subcontractor and N3B organization and coordinate closeout activities.
