Job summary

Newport News Nuclear BWXT Los Alamos LLC (N3B) seeks a Work Operations Manager (WOM) to support Water Programs, Aggregate Area soil remediation, and waste operations in Los Alamos, NM. You will plan, coordinate, and oversee day-to-day environmental remediation activities, ensure safety and regulatory compliance, review work control documents, and mentor junior staff.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, science, or engineering technology related to the work and 5–11 years of experience.
• Experience in environmental remediation or construction projects is desirable.
• Ability to communicate effectively at high levels and lead large projects.

Responsibilities

• Plan, develop, coordinate and direct complex remediation projects.
• Ensure compliance with subcontractor schedules, specifications, and shop drawings.
• Review and approve Integrated Work Control Documents.
• Monitor safety standards and regulatory compliance.
• Train and mentor more junior staff.
