Job summary

Newport News Nuclear BWXT Los Alamos (N3B) is seeking a Subcontract Technical Representative (STR) to oversee technical aspects of the subcontract for moderate/high-hazard work. This role reports to the Senior Manager, Subcontractor Technical Representative in Strategic Planning & Integration.

N3B emphasizes safety, security, and quality across programs and sites. The STR will coordinate with stakeholders, SMEs, and project managers to ensure compliant performance, assess training, and maintain

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline with 9–11 years' related experience (Level 4)
• Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline with 12+ years' related experience (Level 5)
• Excellent writing and planning ability to develop and review project documents

Responsibilities

• Oversee field oversight and coordination of subcontract(s).
• Coordinate training, site orientation, work package development, SME reviews and site access.
• Develop statements of work, contract exhibits, and schedules as needed.
