Job summary

Los Alamos National Laboratory is seeking a Subcontract Technical Representative at the STR Level 1 or Level 2 to manage complex subcontracts from conception to closeout. The role requires oversight of safety, security, and quality requirements while coordinating with LANL project teams and subcontractors.

Responsibilities include evaluating bids, defining scope, managing change orders, and ensuring contractor performance across multiple disciplines on site in Los Alamos, NM.

Qualifications

• Minimum Job Requirements include bidder pre-qualification, development of RFQs, definition of subcontract scope, compilation of bid requests, receipt and evaluation of bids, award, monitoring subcontractor performance, change order management and evaluation, resolution of claims and disputes, commissioning, testing, and close-out.

Responsibilities

• Oversee subcontract management from conception to closeout for construction, maintenance, or site services at LANL.
• Act as the primary LANL technical contact for moderate or high-hazard work and ensure compliance with safety, security, and quality requirements.
