Job summary

Los Alamos National Laboratory (LANL) seeks a Construction Readiness Office Project Leader 3 to coordinate and integrate construction readiness activities across institutional infrastructure and mission-critical projects in Los Alamos, NM.

You will lead cross-functional teams and interface with programmatic organizations, engineering, project management, operations, and subcontractors to ensure readiness objectives are met.

Qualifications

• Leads and manages moderately large and complex construction readiness efforts.
• Coordinates readiness planning to support project execution and occupancy readiness.
• Develops and implements readiness strategies, milestones, schedules, and metrics.
• Interfaces with project managers, engineering, operations, procurement, and subcontractors.
• Oversees multidisciplinary teams for readiness reviews, turnover, and closeout.
• Monitors scope, schedule, risks, issues, and action tracking.
• Identifies risks and develops mitigation strategies.
• Supports institutional readiness processes and continuous improvement.
• Provides status updates and strategic recommendations to management.
• Facilitates readiness reviews and stakeholder engagements.
• Ensures compliance with DOE orders and laboratory procedures.
• Fosters an inclusive, discrimination- and harassment-free environment.

Responsibilities
