Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory is seeking an Associate Subcontract Administrator to support the Procurement Service Center in Berkeley, CA. The role involves high-volume, low-risk pCard and purchase orders for lab and office needs, equipment, and services, aligned with FAR/DEAR and LBNL policies.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor's degree or equivalent training and experience is required.
• 0-1 years of related experience is acceptable for this role.
• Effective oral and written communication skills are essential.
• Knowledge of procurement activities and systems, and the Department's policies and procedures.
• Ability to handle procurement issues of limited scope and complexity.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks in a high-volume environment.

Responsibilities

• Perform 80% subcontract administration, including high-volume, low-risk purchases.
• Place pCard and purchase orders in alignment with customer requirements and capacity.
• Enter and reconcile all data in the procurement systems timely and accurately.
• Provide status updates to customers and coordinate with properties and EHSS when needed.
• Support achievement of Service Center KPIs and respond to inquiries promptly.
• Assist in customer relationship management and Help Desk KPIs.
