Job summary

Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory is seeking an Associate Subcontract Administrator to join the Procurement Service Center in Berkeley, CA. The role focuses on high-volume pCard purchases and purchase orders, while maintaining compliance with FAR, DEAR, and UC procurement standards.

You will support customer inquiries, update stakeholders, and contribute to KPI goals. The position is a full-time, 1-year term with potential extension.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent training and experience.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.
• Knowledge of procurement activities and systems and ability to learn department policies.

Responsibilities

• Purchase high-volume, low-risk pCard and purchase orders within delegated authority.
• Document and maintain all PCard and purchase orders per policies.
• Enter subcontract info into the financial management system (FMS) timely.
• Provide status updates to customers on PCard and subcontract work.
• Support KPI achievement for the Service Center.
