Job summary

Newport News Nuclear BWXT Los Alamos (N3B) seeks a Subcontract Representative 2/3 at Los Alamos, NM to manage complex subcontracts and ensure safety, quality, and regulatory compliance. You will coordinate with program offices, design authorities, and field teams to develop statements of work and oversee performance across multiple subcontractors.

Ideal candidates hold a related bachelor’s degree, and have 3–5 years of applicable experience with government contracting.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in a closely related field or equivalent combination of education and experience.
3–5 years of related experience depending on level.
Experience with DOE/government subcontract management preferred.

Responsibilities

Manage subcontracts in accordance with N3B Subcontract Management policies.
Coordinate subcontract assignments as designated by authority.
Develop statements of work, contract exhibits, and schedules.
Prepare and submit requisition packages and subcontract modifications.
Coordinate with STR and stakeholders on pre-bid walk downs and meetings.
Oversee subcontract safety, quality, cost, schedule, security, and environmental performance.
Track deliverables and process accruals and invoices.
Ensure subcontract activities comply with PII and security requirements.
