Job summary

N3B Los Alamos is seeking a Subcontract Representative to lead the subcontract lifecycle for low to high-hazard work, reporting to Strategic Planning and Integration. You will ensure safety, security and quality requirements are met while coordinating with design authorities and field teams to align with program priorities.

The role requires creativity and flexibility to meet evolving challenges, with duties spanning SOW development, vendor evaluations, deliverable tracking and compliance

Qualifications

• Knowledge of subcontract policies, procedures and government regulations affecting subcontract management.
• Ability to develop and apply advanced principles, concepts and techniques of project management.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills to partner and build teams and to prepare/present oral and written reports.

Responsibilities

• Manage supplies, maintenance or service subcontracts in accordance with N3B policies.
• Coordinate a given subcontract assigned by designation authority.
• Facilitate development of statements of work, contract exhibits, technical evaluations and schedules.
• Develop and submit requisition packages and subcontract modifications.
• Coordinate with STR, stakeholders and requestors on pre-bid activities and execution schedule.
• Provide oversight of subcontract compliance with safety, quality, cost, schedule, security and environmental performance.
• Track deliverables and perform accounting duties including accruals and invoice reviews.
