Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in a related discipline.
  • Ability to obtain a Secret Security Clearance.
  • Knowledge of acquisition policies and procedures (FAR/DFAR).
  • Working knowledge of standard contract types.
  • Proficient in Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Detail- and teamwork-oriented with strong organizational skills.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to make business-based decisions both independently and in a team.

Standard Job Description

You will be the Subcontract Management Stf for the Subcontract Management Team. Our team is responsible for management of supplier cost, schedule, and technical performance on moderate-to-high-risk, modified Commercial Off The Shelf, performance specification and complex build-to-print subcontracts.

What You Will Be Doing

As the Subcontract Management Stf you will be responsible for leading multifunctional subcontract management teams, overseeing procurement delegation, and managing the full subcontract lifecycle from specifications to award and administration.

Your Responsibilities Will Include, But Are Not Limited To
  • Lead development of subcontract specifications, work statements, and terms.
  • Prepare bid packages, conduct bidders' conferences, and evaluate proposals.
  • Negotiate subcontract provisions, select/recommend subcontractors, and issue awards.
  • Administer subcontracts and manage change activities.

MUST BE A U.S. CITIZEN - This position is located at a facility that requires special access. The selected candidate must be able to obtain a Secret clearance.

Basic Qualifications
  • Bachelors degree from an accredited college in a related discipline, or equivalent experience/combined education
  • Must have the ability to obtain a Secret Security Clearance
  • Knowledge of acquisition policies and procedures such as FAR / DFAR
  • Working knowledge of standard contract types
  • Proficient computer skills including Word, Excel and PowerPoint

Pay Information

Full-Time Salary Range: $89100.00 - $165500.00

PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year.
