Job summary

Lockheed Martin in Denver, Colorado is seeking a seasoned Supply Chain professional to manage supplier cost, schedule and technical performance on complex subcontract programs for commercial, DOD, and international work. The role leads cross-functional subcontract teams and negotiates terms within authorized scope.

The position does not telework; candidates should be located near our Space facility in Denver and work onsite.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of professional experience in Supply Chain Management (Procurement, Subcontract Administration, Subcontract Management, Negotiation, proposal, and/or Category Management).
• Experience developing and maintaining vendor relationships.
• Negotiation skills.
• Strong skills with the Microsoft Office suite.

• Leads multifunctional subcontract management teams.

• Prepares bid packages, conducts bidders' conferences, evaluates proposals, negotiates subcontract provisions, selects subcontractors, writes packages, prepares awards and administers subcontracts and changes.
• Collects data for team and reporting to leadership.

This Role Will Offer You The Following Daily Challenges

• Responsible for the management of supplier cost, schedule and technical performance on moderate-to-high-risk, modified Commercial Off The Shelf, performance specification and complex build-to-print subcontracts for commercial, DOD and international programs.
• Leads multifunctional subcontract management teams.
• Holds procurement delegation and signs supplier agreements and purchase orders within established authority.
• Leads the development of subcontract specifications, work statements, and terms and conditions for the procurement of specialized materials, equipment, and services for subcontract systems in support of development, production and global sustainment primes with multiple contract types.
• Prepares bid packages, conducts bidders' conferences, develops evaluation criteria, analyzes and evaluates proposals, negotiates subcontract provisions including price, selects or recommends subcontractors, writes subcontract packages, prepares awards and administers resulting subcontracts and required change activity.
• Responsible for collecting data for team and reporting to leadership.

This position does not support teleworking; the preferred candidate will be located near our Lockheed Martin Space facility one of the Coolest places to work: Denver, Colorado , and be expected to work in the office.
Basic Qualifications
To be effective, you will need to possess these basic qualifications:

• 4+ years of professional experience in Supply Chain Management (i.e… Procurement, Subcontract Administration, Subcontract Management, Negotiation, proposal, and/or Category Management)
• Experience developing and maintaining vendor relationships
• Negotiation skills
• Strong skills with the Microsoft Office suite

Pay Information
Full-Time Salary Range: $81500.00 - $151300.00

• For (Washington state applicants only) Non-represented full-time employees: accrue at least 10 hours per month of Paid Time Off (PTO) to be used for incidental absences and other reasons; receive at least 90 hours for holidays. Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year.
