Brown & Root Industrial Services is seeking a Subcontract Coordinator who will act as the primary liaison between contractors and site operations. The role involves field time and close coordination with the Site Contract Administrator to ensure safety, schedule, and cost targets are met.

Responsibilities include understanding scopes of work, preparing packages, conducting pre-job meetings, inspecting contractor equipment, and maintaining daily field reports.

Qualificações

  • High school diploma or technical/engineering degree preferred.
  • Ability to work in process and field areas with physical activity.
  • Demonstrated teamwork across multiple individuals.
  • Strong prioritization and business understanding.
  • Effective oral and written communication across levels.

Responsabilidades

  • Understand scopes of work and ensure compliance with Site Contracting Strategy.
  • Participate in package preparation and conduct pre-job meetings.
  • Inspect contractor equipment and verify services rendered.
  • Monitor safety, quality, cost and schedule of work.
  • Prepare passes, work permits, and document receipts of service.
  • Audit JSAs and contractor safety programs; attend safety meetings and client meetings.

This Subcontract Coordinator position will be responsible for managing the interface between the contractors and the area(s). This position will be the primary liaison between the contractors and the area operations personnel. The Subcontract Coordinator is the connection between the Site Contract Administrator and the contractor.

The Subcontract Administrator is a full-time position with an expectation of approximately 25%+/- of their time spent in the field.

The Subcontract Administrator is responsible in the following areas:

  • Understand scopes of work
  • Ensure compliance with Site Contracting Strategy
  • Participate in package preparation process
  • Conduct pre-job meeting
  • Inspection of contractor's equipment
  • Acceptance of services or work completed
  • Monitor safety, quality, cost, and schedule
  • Prepare passes and work permits
  • Audit Contractor Job Safety Analysis (JSAs)
  • Verify receipt of service, pay invoices, complete web-cycles
  • Sign and maintain time sheets, material tickets, documentation for Receipt of Service
  • Maintain daily reports of work
  • Help resolve claims and issues
  • Monitor and document changes to contract
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory safety requirements
  • Provide input on post-job evaluation
  • Audit contractor’s safety program and performance
  • Attend Weekly Safety Meetings
  • Attend Meetings with client
  • Knowledge of Safety Policies & Procedures
  • Proficient Computer Skills in SAP, Excel, PowerPoint, Word
  • Quality Safety Audits

Qualifications / Requirements:
  • High School diploma with craft or technical expertise, Technical degree (2 year), or engineering degree preferred.
  • Ability to work in process and field areas may include physical capabilities such as climbing stairs, ladders, and construction areas.
  • Demonstrated ability to work with many individuals as a team player.
  • Demonstrated ability to work on multiple tasks, setting and communicating priorities, and understanding the business drivers.
