Job summary

CORE is seeking a Subcontract Administrator to join our Frisco, Texas team. This in-person role focuses on preparing, issuing, and maintaining subcontract agreements with trade partners, ensuring accuracy and timely execution.

Working closely with Operations, Project Management, and Accounting, you will support the subcontract process from bid award through execution while maintaining organized project records and assisting with risk management.

Qualifications

  • 2–5 years of subcontract administration or related construction support experience.
  • Experience preparing, reviewing, and administering subcontract agreements for commercial construction projects.
  • Strong understanding of construction documentation and subcontract processes.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills; valid driver''s license.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare, issue, and track subcontract agreements and related documents for awarded trade partners.
  • Coordinate subcontract execution from issuance through receipt of fully executed agreements.
  • Review subcontract documentation for completeness and accuracy prior to execution.
  • Maintain subcontract logs and project contract files throughout the duration of each project.
  • Communicate directly with subcontractors regarding required documentation, insurance, executed agreements, and contract requirements.
  • Partner with Operations staff to ensure subcontract scopes align with project needs.
  • Support risk management by ensuring required contractual documentation is received and maintained.
  • Enter subcontract information into company accounting and project management systems.
  • Assist with project setup and ongoing contract administration activities.
  • Maintain organized electronic project files and support document management initiatives.

Job description

CORE is seeking a Subcontract Administrator (SCA) to join our team in Frisco, Texas. This role is responsible for preparing, issuing, executing, and maintaining subcontract agreements with trade partners, ensuring accurate documentation and timely execution throughout the lifecycle of each project.
Working closely with Operations and Project Management staff, Project Coordinators and Accounting, the Subcontract Administrator will help facilitate the subcontract process from bid award through execution while maintaining organized project records and supporting company risk management efforts. In this role, the SCA will help build trusted relationships with our trade partners through fair and consistent subcontract administration. By maintaining accurate documentation and communicating proactively, the SCA will uphold CORE's values of Fairness, Integrity, Continuous Improvement, and Results while helping our project teams execute successfully from project startup through completion.

Candidate Qualifications
  • Minimum of 2-5 years of experience in subcontract administration, construction administration, project coordination, or a related construction support role
  • Experience preparing, reviewing, and administering subcontract agreements for commercial construction projects
  • Strong understanding of construction documentation and subcontract processes
  • Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Technology proficiency with Microsoft Office and DocuSign
  • Experience with Viewpoint Vista, Vista Team, or similar construction management/accounting software is preferred
  • Experience with ConsensusDocs or AIA contract documents is preferred
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with project teams, accounting, and trade partners
  • Professional, client-service mindset with strong follow-through
  • Valid driver's license
  • This is an in-person position based in Frisco, Texas (not remote or hybrid)
