Job summary

Lockheed Martin is seeking a Subcontracts Professional to develop specifications and terms for procurement of materials and services supporting development, production, and sustainment. You will prepare bid packages, evaluate proposals, negotiate provisions, and administer resulting subcontracts.

Candidates typically hold a Bachelor's degree with at least 1 year in Purchasing or related Supply Chain fields, and have SAP/ERP experience and strong Office skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college.
• 1+ year of experience in Purchasing, Expediting, or a related Supply Chain discipline.
• Knowledge of SAP or ERP experience.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite.

Standard Job Description

Develops subcontract specifications, work statements, and terms and conditions for the procurement of specialized materials, equipment, and services for subcontracts in support of development, production and global sustainment for multiple contract types. Prepares bid packages, conducts bidders' conferences, develops evaluation criteria, analyzes and evaluates proposals, negotiates subcontract provisions, selects or recommends subcontractors, writes subcontract packages for review, prepares awards and administers resulting subcontracts. Negotiates and coordinates additions, deletions, or modifications to subcontracts. Participates with contracts administration and purchasing to develop subcontract policies and procedures. May sign supplier agreements and purchase orders within established authority.

Basic Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college

Minimum of 1 or more years of demonstrated experience in Purchasing, Expediting, or a related Supply Chain discipline

Knowledge of SAP software or similar Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) experience

Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite

Desired Skills

Strong problem-solving and communication skills

Prior experience in a related industry preferred

Experience with supply chain activities, to include procurement systems, production schedules and IPT structures

Critical thinker / Problem solver

Pay Information

Full-Time Salary Range: $59900.00 - $111300.00
