Job summary

Lockheed Martin Space in Huntsville, Alabama is seeking a Subcontract Administrator to drive procurement for IRAD/CRAD efforts. You will manage subcontract specs, negotiate changes, and collaborate with contracts and purchasing to ensure compliant procurement of specialized materials and services.

The role supports telework options; preferred location is Huntsville with office presence as needed, and requires US citizenship with the ability to obtain a US SECRET clearance.

Qualifications

This Role Will Offer You The Following Daily Challenges

• The Adjacent Capabilities Subcontract Admistrator executes subcontract specifications, work statements, and terms and conditions for the procurement of specialized materials, equipment, and services for subcontracts in support of development, supporting Internal and Customer Funded Research and Development (IRAD/CRAD) efforts.
• Negotiates and coordinates additions, deletions, or modifications to subcontracts. Participates with contracts administration and purchasing to develop subcontract policies and procedures.
• May sign supplier agreements and purchase orders within established authority.

Basic Qualifications

To be effective, you will need to possess these basic qualifications:

• Bachelors Degree from an accredited university
• Experience using Procure 2 Pay (P2P)
• Minimum of 1 year of professional experience in Supply Chain Management (i.e… Procurement, Subcontract Administration, Subcontract Management, Negotiation, proposal, and/or Category Management)
• You will need to be a US Citizen, and be able to obtain and maintain a US SECRET clearance,to support this government contract, as well as successfully pass a drug and background check, in order to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information. Please note: No clearance is required to apply, but an interim clearance will be needed to start.

Desired Skills

To be effective, ideally, you should also have:

• Experience with supply chain management or buying or procurement or related field
• Experience with Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) or Defense Federal Acquisition Regulations (DFAR)
• Demonstrated working knowledge of Systems, Applications and Processes (SAP)
• Strong Communication and Organizational Skills
• Multi-task in a fast-paced team environment and work well under pressure
• Possess effective relationship-building skills with peers, leadership and suppliers

Although this position does support some teleworking; the preferred candidate will be located near our Lockheed Martin Space facility in one of the greatest places to work: Huntsville, AL (AKA: Rocket City USA) , and be expected to work in the office as needed

Pay Information

Full-Time Salary Range: $59900.00 - $111300.00

PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year.
