Job summary

ADP, Inc. is seeking a Subassembly Assembler in Cedar Rapids, IA to proficiently produce quality assemblies in one or more work centers including gear case, spinners, chain shields, and final subassembly.

The role is Regular Full Time, non-exempt, on-site at Cedar Rapids. Responsibilities include visual inspection, reading prints, and performing quality checks, with a focus on accuracy and adherence to safety and process standards.

Qualifications

• 0-2 years of experience; previous manufacturing experience preferred.
• Basic computer skills are required; must be able to use computer systems to look-up information, clock-in/clock-out, and report work activities. Experience with Microsoft Excel, Outlook, and Word is preferred.
• Ability to read blueprints.
• Good math skills are required; ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
• Ability to read a tape measure up to 1/32".
• Experience with hand tools including power tools such as impact drivers and drills.

Responsibilities

• Verifies assembly by visual inspection and utilization of measurements specified on prints and procedures.
• Completes work assignments within standard guidelines of time and quality.
• Performs quality checks on work completed.
