Job summary

New-Leader-Manufacturing in Cedar Rapids, IA is seeking a Production Assembler who will proficiently assemble product in Final East and/or Final West areas, following customer and engineering specifications.

You will read prints, apply decals, complete PTRs, and keep the work area clean while meeting goals and timelines. Adherence to safety procedures and attendance expectations are required.

Qualifications

• 0-2 years of previous assembly experience in manufacturing preferred.
• Basic computer skills are required; should be able to use computer systems to look-up information, clock-in/clock-out, and report work activities. Experience with Microsoft Excel, Outlook, and Word is preferred.
• Ability to read blueprints.
• Good math skills; ability to perform basic arithmetic in all units of measure.
• Ability to read a tape measure up to 1/32”.

Responsibilities

• Works independently in Final East and/or Final West assembly assembling product to customer and engineering specifications.
• Verifies assembly is built properly by visual inspection and measurements.
• Performs quality checks on completed work.
• Assists with training of others.
• Accurately reads prints and assembles units accordingly.
