Job summary

Novolex in Cedar Rapids is hiring for a Sub-assembly technician. You will assemble small mechanical, pneumatic, and electrical sub-assemblies and prepare kits for shipment to customer sites. Reading blueprints and bills of materials is required.

The role runs Monday–Friday, 7:00 am – 3:30 pm in a climate-controlled environment with competitive pay and a robust benefits program. High school diploma or GED is required, with CNC machining experience or an A.A.S. preferred.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 2-year A.A.S. Degree in CNC Machining Technology or 3-5 years CNC Machining experience in manufacturing.
• WorkKeys/National Career Readiness Certificate (Silver or higher) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assemble small mechanical, pneumatic and/or electrical sub-assemblies.
• Prepare/bag/label kits of components to ship to customer sites.
• Read blueprints and bills of materials.
