Job summary

Baxter International Inc. in the United States is seeking a Subassembly Operator to contribute to producing life-sustaining components. You will operate and monitor subassembly machinery, load supplies, perform quality checks, and ensure timely output of components used in IV therapies and other sterile solutions.

The role emphasizes safety, GMP, and 6S; training is provided; 18+ required; hourly pay $21.60; benefits from day one include health coverage, PTO, 401(k), ESPP, parental leave.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED, must be at least 18.
• One year of manufacturing experience preferred.
• Basic English written and oral communication skills adequate to communicate with other team members.

Responsibilities

• Operate, monitor and make minor adjustments as necessary to subassembly machinery.
• Load and replenish production supplies at a rate consistent with production needs.
• Perform scheduled quality checks, disposition product, identify deviations and take appropriate action including stopping production.
• Inspect finished components to ensure quality standards are met.
• Package finished components and stage for transfer to Kiefel or Filling.
• Test, inspect and package Inter-Plant Shipping Orders (IPSO).
• Document information on manufacturing logs or POMS system.
• Investigate and correct inefficiencies in machine performance.
• Multitask and manage several machines at once.
• Execute machine changeovers as assigned.
• Perform and document scheduled cleaning activities.
• Notify supervisor of safety, quality or discrepancy issues.
• Apply GMP and SOPs; maintain 6S clean and safe work area.
