Job summary

Intercommunity Care in Norwalk, CA is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) with Subacute experience for a full-time, PM shift role. The job operates on a 4/2 rotation schedule.

Primary duties include personal care under RN supervision, daily living assistance, and maintaining a clean, safe environment for residents. Qualified candidates hold an active CNA certification, a minimum of one year in Sub-Acute care, and a high school diploma or equivalent.

Qualifications

• Active CNA certification with a successful completion of a CNA program
• Minimum one (1) year of Sub-Acute experience
• Ability to read, write, and speak English
• Good physical health to lift and move patients, and/or stand for long periods of time, with or without reasonable accommodation

Responsibilities

• Providing personal care for the residents under the supervision of a licensed and/or registered nurse
• Assistance with activities of daily living including dressing, bathing, grooming, dining, recreational activities, and outings
• Organizational skills to keep the unit running smoothly
• Answer call lights to determine and meet resident needs
• Proper lifting and transitioning residents from wheelchair to bed, bed to chair, etc.
• Transporting residents to dining area for meals and activities
• Be punctual and professional
• Other duties as assigned
