Job summary

Qualifications

• Active CNA certification with completion of a CNA program.
• Minimum 1 year of Sub-Acute experience.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Fully vaccinated against COVID-19 including booster(s).
• Ability to read, write, and speak English.
• Good physical health to lift/move patients.

Responsibilities

• Providing personal care for residents under supervision of a licensed nurse.
• Assist with activities of daily living: dressing, bathing, grooming, dining, recreation.
• Maintain unit organization to ensure smooth operation.
• Answer call lights to meet resident needs.
• Use proper body mechanics when lifting or moving residents.
• Document rounds and report changes in patient condition.
• Provide companionship and quality care to residents.
• Keep environment clean and healthy.
• Prioritize resident activities based on care needs.
• Assist with transitions using safe lifting and transfers.
• Transport residents to dining areas for meals and activities.
• Be punctual and maintain professionalism.
• Other duties as assigned.
