Job summary

Novolex Cedar Rapids facility is hiring for a sub-assembly technician. You will assemble small mechanical, pneumatic and/or electrical sub-assemblies and prepare kits for shipping, reading blueprints and bills of materials to ensure accuracy.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED, plus CNC machining credentials or 3–5 years of CNC experience. WorkKeys Silver or higher is preferred. This is a Monday–Friday, 7:00 am–3:30 pm shift with climate-controlled manufacturing.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 2-year A.A.S. Degree – CNC Machining Technology or 3-5 years of CNC Machining experience in a manufacturing environment.
• WorkKeys Certification: National Career Readiness Certificate (Silver Certificate Level or higher), preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assemble small mechanical, pneumatic and/or electrical sub-assemblies.
• Prepare/bag/label kits of components to ship to customer sites.
• Must be able to read blueprints and bills of material.
