Southern California Hospitals seeks a Sub Acute Charge Nurse to lead unit operations, supervise RNs/LVNs/CNAs, and ensure high-quality patient care. You will assign staff to shifts based on patient needs and staff capabilities while maintaining clinical standards and patient safety.

You will oversee care plans, collaborate with physicians, and ensure adherence to infection control and HIPAA requirements, while serving as a resource and role model for the nursing team.

Competenze

• Active RN license in California (unencumbered).
• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• BLS required (AHA).
• Ability to read/write/communicate in English.

Mansioni

• Lead daily unit operations; assign staff based on acuity and skills.
• Supervise RNs, LVNs, and CNAs; input on counseling, scheduling, and discipline.
• Provide resident care supervision; administer medications and treatments as per standards.
• Coordinate care with physicians; develop plans of care with treatment teams.
• Ensure HIPAA compliance and infection control procedures are followed.
