Southern California Hospitals is seeking a Sub Acute Charge Nurse to oversee clinical functions on the assigned shift, directing staff and ensuring high standards of nursing care.

The role involves supervising RNs, LVNs, and CNAs, planning and documenting patient care with physicians, and ensuring regulatory compliance. It emphasizes leadership, patient advocacy, and collaboration within the healthcare team.

Formación

• Active, current RN license in CA
• Graduate of an Accredited School of Nursing
• AHA Basic Life Saving
• Ability to read, write and communicate effectively in English
• Ability to maintain flexibility and composure in a changing environment
• Pediatric Advanced Life Support (Foothill Campus Only)
• Pediatric experience or completion of a pediatric course within 1 year (Foothill Campus Only)

Responsabilidades

• Oversees daily unit operations and staffing based on patient acuities
• Directs care by supervising RNs, LVNs, and CNAs
• Plans and documents nursing care, and ensures HIPAA compliance
• Leads patient care collaboration with the health care team
• Provides teaching, coaching, and disciplinary guidance as needed
