Job summary

Target is seeking a Style Consultant to help guests discover the joy of everyday life through approachable fashion and strong store operations. You will ensure a welcoming floor and fitting room experience, price and sign merchandise, and keep the floor stocked with the right sizes and colors.

You will engage with guests, operate store tools and scanners, and work with a team to deliver an outstanding guest experience in a fast-paced environment. Training and growth opportunities are provided.

Qualifications

• Strong interest and knowledge of apparel products and accessories.
• Welcoming and helpful attitude toward all guests and team members.
• Ability to communicate on multiple frequency devices and operate handheld scanners, and other technology equipment as directed.
• Effective communication skills.
• Work both independently and with a team.
• Resolve guest questions quickly.
• Capability to remain focused in a fast-paced environment and accomplish multiple tasks.

Responsibilities

• Drive sales and keep a guest-ready floor by executing visual standards and pricing.
• Leverage store tools to understand sales and inventory and assist guests.
• Sort freight and restock merchandise on the sales floor and backroom.
• Set up visual presentations and merchandising guides to support guest experience.
• Maintain product availability and full floor with priority fills.
• Remerchandise presentations as items sell to keep the experience fresh.
• Support price changes by executing merchandising signings and clearances.
• Maintain fitting rooms to welcome and assist guests.
• Assist with backroom replenishment and guest requests.
• Ensure safety and compliance in daily operations.
