Job summary

Target is seeking a Style Consultant in the Kansas City area to assist guests on the sales floor and in the fitting room, delivering a welcoming experience and helping guests discover the right styles. You’ll support brand presentation and guest engagement with a knowledgeable, friendly approach.

You will drive sales through knowledge of the assortment, pricing, and promotions, maintain a guest-ready floor, and assist with backroom operations, safety, and compliance while delivering excellent

Qualifications

• Guest service fundamentals and a guest-first culture across the store.
• Retail business fundamentals including department sales trends, inventory management, guest shopping patterns, pricing and promotions strategies.
• Visual merchandising knowledge and ability to set, fill, and price the floor according to guest needs.

Responsibilities

• Drive sales and deliver a guest ready floor by executing visual standards and signage and staying knowledgeable on assortment and brand offerings.
• Sort truck freight, push freight to the salesfloor, and locate merchandise in the backroom based on business needs.
• Set visual presentations and merchandising guides to support guest experience and sales.
• Maintain product availability and a full floor by executing priority fills and merchandising to capacity.
• Execute backroom organization and replenishment to support guest requests.
• Remerchandise presentations to deliver an inspiring shopping experience.
• Support price change processes by executing signing and signage.
• Maintain and use fitting rooms to welcome and assist guests.
• Support fulfillment and guest needs by moving merchandise between fitting room and salesfloor.
• Demonstrate a culture of ethical conduct, safety and compliance at all times.
• Work in a safe manner; report hazards and follow safety policies.
• Assist guest services such as back-up cashier, order pick up, and Drive-up while ensuring compliance with laws.
