Job summary

Target is seeking a Style Consultant to join our team in a fast-paced, guest‑focused retail environment. You will help guests on the sales floor and in the fitting room, ensuring the floor is visually appealing, stocked and accurately signed.

The role emphasizes strong guest service, teamwork and flexible scheduling to meet store needs. We offer training and opportunities to build skills in merchandising, guest experience and store operations, with a supportive team and a culture that values

Responsibilities

• Drive sales and deliver a guest ready floor by executing visual standards, inspirations and signing, and stay knowledgeable on assortment and brand offerings.
• Leverage store tools to understand sales, inventory ownership, and support guest needs.
• Sort truck freight, push freight to the salesfloor, and locate merchandise in the backroom based on business needs.
• Set visual presentations and merchandising guides to support guest experience and sales.
• Maintain product availability and a full floorpad by executing priority fills and merchandising to capacity.
• Execute backroom organization to support replenishment and guest requests.
• Remerchandise presentations as items sell to deliver an inspiring shopping experience.
• Support price change processes by executing merchandising and signing.
• Maintain and use fitting rooms to welcome, inspire, and help guests.
• Support fulfillment and guest needs by ensuring merchandise from fitting room and guest service returns to the salesfloor.
• Always demonstrate a culture of ethical conduct, safety and compliance.
• Work in a safe manner; comply with safety policies and training; report hazards.
• Support guest services such as back-up cashier, order pickup and Drive-up while maintaining compliance with policies.
• Create a welcoming experience by greeting guests while completing daily tasks.
• When guests need assistance, engage with guests to solve their specific needs.
• Thank guests and let them know we’re happy they chose to shop at Target.
• All other duties based on business needs.
