Job summary

Target in Portland, Maine is hiring a Style Consultant to help guests discover the joy of shopping. You’ll greet customers, maintain the selling floor, and present merchandise with energy and care.

You will support guest services, assist with fitting rooms, stock backrooms, and keep signs current. The role requires teamwork, strong communication, and a willingness to work varied shifts, including nights and weekends.

Qualifications

• Cash handling and basic math accuracy.

Responsibilities

• Drive sales and deliver a guest-ready floor by executing visual standards and signing.
• Leverage store tools to understand sales, inventory ownership, and use to assist guests.
• Sort truck freight, push freight to the salesfloor, and locate merchandise in the backroom.
• Set visual presentations and merchandising guides to support guest experience and sales.
• Maintain product availability and a full floorpad by executing priority and merchandising fills.
• Execute backroom organization for replenishment and guest requests.
• Remerchandise presentations as they sell through to deliver an inspiring shopping experience.
• Support price change processes with signage execution.
• Maintain fittings rooms to welcome, inspire, and help guests.
• Support fulfillment and guest needs by moving merchandise back to the floor throughout the day.
• Always demonstrate safety, ethics and compliance.
