Job summary

CEA CAPA Education Abroad is seeking a Site Specialist to advise students on study abroad programs, manage housing, visa processes, and credit transfers. This in-office role requires strong customer service and coordination with international staff to ensure a positive student experience.

The Site Specialist will handle inquiries via phone, text, and email, monitor student progress, and work with multiple departments to improve operations. This position offers a full-time schedule in Phoenix, AZ.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of related student advising, international travel and/or customer service experience preferred.
• Experience studying, living, or working abroad preferred.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Retain students through pre-departure process and prepare them logistically and culturally.
• Meet monthly/term-based metrics around student retention and payments.
• Serve as primary point of contact for students and families from acceptance through program start.
• Develop extensive knowledge of program details and designated sites.
• Participate in weekly coaching and discuss performance data and applicant concerns.
• Record detailed notes in Salesforce for follow-up and customer service.
