Job summary

Tonal is seeking a Studio Technician to support our NYC multi-camera live and live-to-tape studio production workflows. You will be the first-level on-site tech support, assisting with cameras, lighting, audio, and cables while coordinating with Directors, Producers, and Production Assistants to meet Video Village needs.

You will work with the NYC production team in a fast-paced studio environment, learn studio lighting and broadcast workflows, and help keep shoots running smoothly.

Qualifications

• 2–3+ years in production (studio, live events, or similar).
• Organized and detail-oriented with a willingness to learn.

Responsibilities

• Be on site every day as first-level tech support for studio issues.
• Assist with basic maintenance and organization of equipment (cameras, lighting, audio, comms).
• Coordinate with Directors/Producers/PA to meet Video Village needs.
• Tackle lighting board learning and operation support.
• Assist with documentation and tracking equipment or workflow changes.
