Sony Music Entertainment is seeking a Studio Manager to lead the Los Angeles 5020 Studios operations, ensuring day-to-day excellence, top-tier client experiences, and strong financial stewardship.

You will manage engineers, staff, vendors, and events, shaping a hospitality-driven, highly technical environment for artists, producers, and partners. This role requires on-site leadership in LA with nights/weekend flexibility.

Qualifications

• Experience in studio operations or high-end production facilities.
• Proven leadership in scheduling, hiring, and performance management.
• Strong budget ownership with vendor management.
• Deep understanding of studio workflows (recording, mixing, production).
• Highly organized and calm under pressure.
• Fluent in English and Spanish.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily studio operations across all rooms and spaces.
• Oversee vendor relationships and service contracts.
• Manage budgets and forecasting for maintenance and events.
• Plan and execute local studio events and client experiences.
• Staff recruitment, onboarding, and performance reviews.
• Ensure safety, compliance, and world-class client service.
