Job summary

Daily Mail US is seeking a technically minded Media Operations Technician to join our production team. The role suits someone with 2–3 years of experience in AV, broadcast, video production, live production, or a related technical environment to ensure audio and video content is captured, processed, transferred, monitored, and delivered accurately and on deadline.

You will provide hands-on technical support for studio productions, interviews, live events, remote shoots, and day-to-day media

Qualifications

2–3 years in AV, broadcast, or related production environments.
Hands-on experience with professional audio/video equipment.
Strong problem-solving and ability to work under pressure.
Experience with live events and newsroom productions is preferred.

Responsibilities

Set up, test, operate, and maintain professional AV equipment for studio, live, remote, and editorial productions.
Provide hands-on AV support for interviews, live shoots, newsroom productions, events, and other media projects.
Monitor live and recorded feeds to identify and resolve issues.
Ingest, transfer, organize, and prepare assets for production and distribution.
Perform quality checks on audio/video: levels, quality, sync, resolution, frame rates, formats.
Troubleshoot cameras, microphones, monitors, and playback systems.
Support production teams with setup, testing, and troubleshooting.
Maintain equipment and ensure studios are ready for use.
Follow technical workflows to deliver content on deadline.
Collaborate with producers, editors, journalists, photographers, and others.
Identify recurring issues and work with senior staff to improve workflows.
