This is an exciting opportunity for a technically minded Media Operations Technician to join the Daily Mail US production team. The role is ideal for someone with 2–3 years of experience in AV, broadcast, video production, live production, studio operations, or a related technical environment.
Working closely with editorial, production, video, and technical teams, you will help ensure that audio and video content is captured, processed, transferred, monitored, and delivered accurately and efficiently. You will provide hands‑on technical support for studio productions, interviews, live events, remote shoots, and day‑to‑day media operations.
This role requires strong technical aptitude, attention to detail, problem‑solving ability, and the confidence to work calmly in a fast‑paced digital media environment where deadlines and priorities can change quickly.
The ideal candidate is a hands‑on, technically curious, and dependable media professional who enjoys working with AV equipment, production technology, and digital media workflows. You are comfortable troubleshooting problems, working under pressure, and supporting multiple productions and stakeholders throughout the day.
You have a practical understanding of how audio and video equipment works and can confidently set up, operate, and troubleshoot production technology. You don't necessarily need to come from a traditional broadcast environment; experience in AV, live events, studio production, corporate video, streaming, or other hands‑on production environments is highly relevant.
