Job summary

Studs in Venice, CA is seeking a Studio Supervisor (part-time) to lead daily Studio operations, open and close, and ensure a consistent customer and brand experience. This non-managerial role requires maturity, ownership, and leadership by example.

You’ll set the floor tone, support floor leadership during peak times, and ensure safety and brand standards are followed while delivering exceptional service. Hourly Rate: $21.75 and schedule includes evenings, weekends, and holidays, with up to 29

Qualifications

• Prior experience in a keyholder or shift lead role with independent operations and opening/closing responsibilities.
• Must be available to work a flexible schedule including evenings, weekends and holidays.
• Must have at least 4 days of availability, including Saturday and Sunday.
• Reliably attend work for up to 29 hours per week.
• Proven track record of professionalism, reliability, and sound judgment in a customer-facing environment.
• Comfortable standing for extended periods (up to 8+ hours) and able to lift/move at least 20 lbs.
• Able to handle chemicals safely and follow health, safety, and compliance protocols.
• Confident operating solo and taking ownership of floor leadership responsibilities when assigned.
• Brings a positive attitude and contributes to a collaborative, service-oriented team culture.

Responsibilities

• Opens and closes the Studio independently and ensures all opening/closing procedures are completed accurately.
• Supports daily execution of visual merchandising, restocks, and Studio upkeep.
• Reviews daily business and helps implement strategies to drive results.
• Acts as a floor leader during assigned shifts, helping structure the team to meet sales and service goals.
• Upholds compliance with safety and brand standards, including piercing regulations.
• Delivers exceptional service and educates customers on Studs experience.
• Supports service recovery and escalates customer concerns as needed.
• Ensures a warm, welcoming, and consistent customer journey aligned with service expectations.
• Sets a strong example for professionalism, inclusivity, and accountability.
• Provides real-time feedback and support to teammates and escalates as needed.
