Job summary

Perspire Sauna Studio in New York is seeking a full-time General Manager to oversee the Williamsburg (Brooklyn) and Flatiron (Manhattan) studios. You will supervise a leadership team and a staff of ~20 membership sales associates and spa attendants, working onsite five days per week with on-call coverage.

You will drive sales, coach staff, build guest relationships, and maintain top-notch cleanliness and operations.

Qualifications

• Proven experience leading a team to meet or exceed sales and service goals.
• Strong sense of urgency with ability to inspire others.
• Open availability to cover early morning to late evening, 7 days a week.
• Track record of accountability and problem solving.

Perspire is on a mission to bring the benefits of infrared saunas to communities in a friendly, comfortable, spa-like atmosphere. We’re seeking a full-time General Manager to join our leadership team overseeing our Williamsburg (Brooklyn) and Flatiron (Manhattan) studios. You will be working with an owner, another general manager, 2 assistant managers, and a team of ~20 membership sales associates and spa attendants. You will be acting as the accountable leader for the entire team, working onsite across our two locations 5 days per week and on call from open to close to respond to emergencies and team member questions. You will work onsite from Friday to Tuesday and your days off will be on Wednesdays and Thursdays. If you are confident, self-motivated, results-oriented, and love helping others feel their best, this is the perfect job for you.

Here’s what you’ll be doing:

• Leading a consistently high-performing team that wants to win and driving the most sales yourself during peak sales opportunity shifts.
• You’ll be a hands‑on role model for your staff, having regular 1:1 meetings and providing continuous on the job feedback.
• Working with guests. All the time. Developing personal relationships with our regular members. Managing complaints and resolving issues when they arise. If you want a non‑selling “office” job, this isn’t it.
• You will demonstrate and coach on how to go above and beyond for our guests every single time, delighting our members and making them feel like no other wellness studio treats them as well as us.
• Minding the details about our facilities with the eyes of an owner, making sure everything runs smoothly and that our cleanliness is kept to the highest standard.
• Manage vendors, supplies, inventory to ensure the studio runs smoothly.
• Conduct community outreach activities and organize pop ups to promote our studios.
• Ensuring company processes and policies are followed in a fun, fair, and professional environment.
• Manage sales targets and other KPIs, hiring and training, team meetings and all other aspects of studio operations.
