Job summary

Studs Studio Supervisor in Austin, TX, is a non-managerial leadership role with ownership of opening/closing tasks and floor leadership during shifts. The role supports daily operations, merchandising, restocks, and ensuring a consistent customer and brand experience.

Responsibilities include delivering exceptional service, guiding the team, and upholding safety and brand standards. Flexible, full-time schedule with weekend availability is required.

Qualifications

• Prior experience in a keyholder or shift lead role with independent operations and opening/closing responsibilities.
• Must be available to work a flexible schedule up to 5 days per week (32+ hours), including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Weekend availability (Friday, Saturday, Sunday) is required, excluding approved PTO.
• Full-Time employees should prioritize Studs as their primary employment.
• Proven professionalism, reliability, and sound judgment in a customer-facing environment.
• Able to stand for up to 8+ hours and lift/move at least 20 lbs.
• Comfortable handling chemicals and following health, safety and compliance protocols.
• Confident operating solo and taking ownership of floor leadership when assigned.
• Brings a positive attitude, accepts feedback, and contributes to a collaborative service culture.

Responsibilities

• Opens and closes the Studio independently and ensures all opening/closing procedures are completed accurately.
• Supports daily execution of visual merchandising, supply restocks, and Studio upkeep.
• Reviews daily business and helps implement strategies to drive results.
• Acts as a floor leader during assigned shifts, helping structure the team to deliver both sales and service goals.
• Upholds compliance with safety and brand standards, including regulations tied to piercing and Studio cleanliness.
• Delivers exceptional service and educates customers on the Studs experience.
• Supports service recovery and escalates customer concerns as needed.
• Ensures a warm, welcoming, and consistent customer journey aligned with our service expectations.
• Sets a strong example for professionalism, inclusion, and accountability.
• Provides real-time feedback and support to teammates when appropriate, escalating as needed.
• Helps reinforce company values and contributes to a collaborative, feedback-rich environment.
