Job summary

The Class by Taryn Toomey is seeking a Studio Support Lead in NYC to oversee daily studio operations, support the Studio Support teams, and ensure an exceptional experience for in-person students, teachers, and streaming community.

This part-time, in-person role combines regular Studio Support shifts with dedicated operational responsibilities, working with the Studio Manager to maintain standards and keep the Tribeca studio welcoming, organized, and efficiently run.

• Experience in retail operations and driving sales is a plus.
• Familiarity with Mindbody, Homebase, Shopify, or similar systems preferred.
• Proficiency with computers and basic administrative software.

Responsibilities

• Oversee on-site studio operations during shifts.
• Lead and delegate tasks to Studio Support staff.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the studio and staff areas.
• Monitor supplies, equipment, and maintenance needs.
• Assist with hiring, onboarding and training of new staff.
• Coordinate shift coverage and liaise with Studio Manager.
• Manage communications including inbox, inquiries, mail, and signage.
• Provide hospitality and support to students, teachers, and guests.
• Support retail operations and events, including setup and breakdown.
