Job summary

Rivian's Vehicle Design Studio is seeking a Studio Engineer II to bridge creative ambition with engineering discipline, driving theme packaging feasibility for interior and exterior Class 'A' surfaces and releasing components for Adventure Products using CATIA V6 and 3DEXPERIENCE.

You will collaborate with design and engineering teams, manage PLM in Enovia, support DFMEAs and DVPRs, and apply AI-enabled workflows to speed iterations while meeting safety and homologation targets.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in automotive studio engineering or vehicle packaging.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Automotive Engineering, Industrial Design, or related field.
• Preferred: GPA 3.5 or higher.

Responsibilities

• Drive theme packaging development and feasibility for interior and exterior Class 'A' surfaces, balancing design vision with engineering constraints.
• Take ownership of Adventure Products components from concept to production across materials and processes.
• Generate 3D concepts and 2D sections using CATIA V6 / 3DEXPERIENCE and communicate requirements to all stakeholders.
• Manage PLM data structures and processes in Enovia from concept through production support.
