Job summary

CorePower Yoga Naperville is seeking a part-time Studio Experience Team member to coordinate studio operations and uphold health and safety standards. You will support the Studio Manager in growth goals, assist with recruitment and programming enrollment, and work 18–29 hours weekly in the studio.

You will greet students, manage front desk duties, and help keep the space welcoming and orderly. Experience in customer service and excellent communication are required, with Yoga Alliance 200-hour

Qualifications

  • Customer service experience required.
  • Completion of a Yoga Alliance certified 200-hour program preferred.
  • Yoga Sculpt teacher training preferred.
  • Familiarity with HRIS, intranet, point-of-sale, scheduling, and payroll systems.
  • Ability to build relationships with individuals with diverse personalities, styles, and seniority levels.
  • Morning, evening, weekend, and some holiday availability required.

Responsibilities

  • Support the world-class CorePower Yoga studio experience by coordinating studio operations and maintaining health and safety standards.
  • Support the Studio Manager in achieving membership growth, retail sales, community outreach, teacher and SET recruitment, and programming enrollment goals.
  • Work 18-29 hours per week in the studio supporting operations coordination, front desk guidance, health and safety protocols, and team support.
  • Act as the point of contact for students and staff when the Studio Manager is absent, up to 20 hours per week.
  • Maintain studio supply inventory, cleanliness inventory, locker room amenities, towels, and programming materials.
  • Greet students by name, serve as an ambassador of yoga, and foster community at the front desk.
  • Support teachers with POS and pre-/post-class duties.
  • Uphold studio cleanliness, functionality, heat and humidity, music, and safety standards.
  • Coordinate POS, online reservation, subbing, HRIS, and help desk systems.
  • Teach at least 6 branded CorePower Yoga classes per week and provide additional class coverage as needed.

Job description

  • Support the world-class CorePower Yoga studio experience by coordinating studio operations and maintaining health and safety standards
  • Support the Studio Manager in achieving membership growth, retail sales, community outreach, teacher and SET recruitment, and programming enrollment goals
  • Work 18-29 hours per week in the studio supporting operations coordination, front desk guidance, health and safety protocols, and team support
  • Act as the point of contact for students and staff when the Studio Manager is absent, up to 20 hours per week
  • Maintain studio supply inventory, cleanliness inventory, locker room amenities, towels, and programming materials
  • Greet students by name, serve as an ambassador of yoga, and foster community at the front desk

  • Communicate Smart Health Protocol to students
  • Clean the studio, stock amenities, and ensure cleanliness protocols are followed
  • Interview, hire, schedule, train, discipline, and terminate Studio Experience Team employees as appropriate
  • Lead orientation for new Studio Experience Team members
  • Coordinate POS, online reservation, subbing, HRIS, and help desk systems
  • Submit facilities tickets and communicate follow-up needs to the Studio Manager
  • Teach at least 6 branded CorePower Yoga classes per week and provide additional class coverage as needed

  • Excellent oral communication skills, professionalism, and exceptional interpersonal skills
  • Customer service experience required
  • Completion of a Yoga Alliance certified 200-hour program preferred
  • Yoga Sculpt teacher training preferred
  • Familiarity with HRIS, intranet, point-of-sale, scheduling, and payroll systems
  • Ability to build relationships with individuals with diverse personalities, styles, and seniority levels
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple deadlines
  • Proven self-starter with ability to take on new projects enthusiastically
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office products: Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel
  • Excellent time management skills
  • Ability to take initiative and prioritize
  • College (BA/BS) preferred
  • Morning, evening, weekend, and some holiday availability required
  • Ability to move around the studio, crouch, reach, and lift up to 25 lbs.
  • If certified to teach, ability to teach a class with little to no notice while scheduled in the studio
