Job summary

CorePower Yoga in Dallas is seeking a Studio Coordinator to support world-class studio operations, ensure health and safety standards, and uphold CorePower Yoga values.

You will assist the Studio Manager, foster community, manage front desk duties, and help recruit teaching and SET members while maintaining inventory and cleanliness.

  • Self-starter capable of taking on new projects with enthusiasm.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Excel).
  • College degree preferred.

  • Greet students, foster community, and manage front desk guidance.
  • Support SET training and oversee rotation, scheduling, and coverage.
  • Lead orientation for new SET members and train on cleanliness protocols.
  • Coordinate communication between Studio Manager and teaching/SET teams.

Job description

  • As a Studio Coordinator (SC), you live your power by supporting the world class CorePower Yoga studio experience including coordinating studio operations and holding the studio to the highest health and safety standards.
  • Act as an ambassador of the CorePower Yoga Core Values at all times and consistently inspire these values in others.
  • Support the Studio Manager in achieving company and studio level goals, including membership growth, retail sales, community outreach, teacher and SET recruitment, and programming enrollment.
  • Commit to flexible schedule of 18-29 hours per week in studio in support of operations coordination and teaching (if certified), include health and safety protocol execution, front desk guidance, and team support.
  • Serve as the studio-level point of contact for students and staff if/when Studio Manager is not present.
  • Support maintaining an appropriate level of studio supply inventory so that all provisions and amenities are available for students at all times including cleanliness inventory, locker room amenities, towels, programming materials, etc.
  • Engage and know your studio community consistently; greet students by name, serve as an ambassador of yoga both inside and outside of the studio, and spend quality time at the front desk fostering community.
  • Support our teachers learning experience of working the POS and other pre/post class duties.
  • Uphold high standards for the studio and when on duty, ensure that the physical studio space meets the high CPY standards of cleanliness and functionality including a safe environment, optimum heat and humidity, inspiring music, and clean and clutter-free surroundings in all areas of the studio.
  • Support communication around Smart Health Protocol to students upon entry and throughout their visit at CPY.
  • Act as an extension of the Studio Experience Team (SET) including cleaning the studio, stocking amenities, and ensuring the CPY cleanliness protocol is always followed while on duty in the studio.
  • When scheduled at the studio, support coordination of the Studio Experience Team (SET) including shift scheduling, stepping in for no call/no shows, and training.
  • Lead Orientation for new Studio Experience Team members and train them on cleanliness protocol and role expectations.
  • Act as a liaison between the Studio Manager and the teaching and SET teams in training, communicating, and coordinating studio operational systems.
Requirements
  • Must demonstrate CorePower Yoga Core Value
  • Excellent oral communication skills, professionalism and exceptional interpersonal skills are required
  • Experience in Customer Service required
  • Completion of a Yoga Alliance certified 200-hour program is preferred
  • Yoga Sculpt teacher training is preferred
  • Familiar and comfortable in studio systems such as the HRIS, intranet, point of sale systems, company scheduling and payroll systems, etc.
  • Ability to build relationships with individuals with diverse personalities and styles and at different levels of seniority
  • Thrives in a fast-paced environment and can prioritize while working under multiple deadlines
  • Proven self-starter with ability to take on new projects with enthusiasm
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office products: Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Excel
  • Excellent Time Management skills
  • Ability to take initiative and prioritize
  • College (BA/BS) preferred.
