Elements Massage San Mateo is seeking an Assistant Manager to lead day‑to‑day studio operations across the front desk team, massage therapists, and estheticians. This in‑studio role emphasizes people leadership, smooth operations, and delivering a high‑quality client experience.

You will support onboarding, scheduling, and performance, while helping drive membership growth, retail sales, and skincare service adoption. A calm, hands‑on leader with strong communication will thrive here.

Qualifications

• 2 years of spa management is preferred.
• Leadership or supervisory experience in a membership‑driven environment (wellness, fitness, spa, or hospitality).
• Experience managing or supporting both sales and service teams.
• Familiarity with scheduling systems, POS software, and studio operations.
• Interest in skincare, facials, or wellness services is a plus.

We’re looking for an Assistant Manager to help lead day-to-day studio operations across the front desk team, massage therapists, and our newly launched skincare and facial services. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys people leadership, studio operations, and being part of a growing wellness business.

What You’ll Do

As the Assistant Manager/Studio Manager, you’ll support the Area Manager and help keep the entire studio running smoothly. You’ll be visible on the floor, approachable to staff, and focused on both the client experience and team performance.

This is an in-studio role and not remote or seasonal.
