Job summary

Howard University is seeking a Manager for Student and Young Alumni Engagement to design and assess programs that build lifelong relationships. You will act as the primary liaison to student organizations, graduates, and campus partners, cultivating an early culture of involvement and philanthropy.

The role emphasizes event management, strategic outreach to Gen Z and young alumni, and collaboration with campus units to create meaningful engagement and career development opportunities.

Qualifications

• Develop and execute engagement programs across student and alumni cohorts.
• Support collaboration with campus partners and student organizations.
• Promote philanthropy and lifelong alumni involvement.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and assess programs fostering relationships between the University and students/young alumni.
• Serve as liaison to student orgs, ambassadors, and affinity groups.
• Coordinate senior-year experiences and alumni education initiatives.
• Deliver workshops on networking, professional development, and alumni value.
• Plan young alumni events and regional gatherings, supporting reunions.
• Collaborate with Career Development to enable mentorship and alumni-student connections.
