Job summary

DelVal in Doylestown, PA seeks a Student Part-Time Tutor to assist Delaware Valley University students with understanding course materials and to help them develop effective study strategies. You will tutor students in course content and contribute to their academic success.

Responsibilities include submitting time and activity records, collecting feedback, completing required training by deadlines, and performing other duties as assigned. This is a part-time student role at DVU.

Preferred Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

• Must have completed courses they wish to tutor with a minimum grade of “B” at DelVal or must have completed the equivalent course(s)/subject(s) at another accredited college/university. with a minimum grade of “B” as indicated on a transcript.
• Must be recommended by a DVU faculty member.
• Must have excellent communication skills and the ability to work well with peers.
