The Student Worker - Assistant to the Provost serves ACU by assisting the provost office in administrative duties, serving as a TA in a class taught by a member of the provost office, and assisting at events (such as graduation). The Assistant 's primary work station is at the entryway to the ACU faculty area and they serve as a greeter and host for the many visitors to the academic wing of the administration building. The Assistant is responsible for keeping student grades confidential and for abiding by FERPA policies.
This role also requires a comprehensive understanding of and commitment to the unique Christian mission and vision of ACU to Transform Culture with Truth, and the ability to advance that mission and vision through the performance of its duties, including person-to-person mentorship and discipleship.
This position is part-time, non-exempt for overtime pay provisions as provided by the Federal Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA) and any applicable state laws.
