Job summary

Belmont University in Kentucky is seeking a Be Well BU Program Assistant to promote and execute wellness events and programs as a Student Employee. You will collaborate with campus divisions to create engaging programs aligned with the Be Well BU initiative.

Responsibilities include planning and promoting wellness programming, supporting mental health initiatives, developing communication and social media plans, delivering presentations, and collecting assessment data.

Qualifications

  • Must be enrolled as a Belmont University student.
  • Graduate or undergraduate studies in Sports Administration, Public Health, Design, Media, Marketing, Leadership, or related field preferred.
  • Strong event planning, marketing, and communication skills are required.
  • Ability to work mainly during business hours and some evenings/weekends.

  • Support and implement student wellness initiatives, including programs that promote mental health and access to resources.
  • Contribute to a comprehensive communication, marketing, and social media plan for Be Well BU.
  • Create and deliver presentations about student well-being as requested.
  • Collect and review pertinent assessment data in reports on a weekly/semester/annual basis.
  • Support collaboration among wellness departments and campus partners to promote holistic student well-being.
  • Attend meetings, trainings, and Be Well BU events.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities

The Be Well BU Program Assistants are responsible for promoting and executing events and programs that support Belmont University's Be Well BU initiative in line with university and departmental strategic priorities. They will collaborate closely with Division for Student Formation graduate assistants and various campus departments to provide impactful programs designed to enhance student well-being. The Be Well BU Program Assistants operate under the guidance of the Associate Dean of Students, Student Well-Being.

Primary Duties & Responsibilities
  • Assist with planning, promoting, and executing wellness programming events andtargeted wellness education for students.
  • Support and implement studentwellness initiatives, including programs that promote mental health, increaseaccess to supportive resources, and address basic needs such as food security.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of a comprehensivecommunication, marketing, and social media plan for the Be Well BU program.
  • Create and deliver presentations about student well-being as requested.
  • Collect and review pertinent assessment data in reports submitted on a weekly,per-semester, annual, and per-event basis.
Secondary Duties & Responsibilities
  • Supportcollaboration among wellness departments, academic programs, studentorganizations, and other campus partners to promote a holistic approach tostudent well-being.
  • Assist with program research needs
  • Attend meetings, trainings, and events that are partnered with Be Well BU
  • Perform other related duties as assigned
Required Qualifications Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
  • Strong event planning, marketing,and communication skills required.
  • Health promotion experience preferred
  • Skilled in utilizing social media, design, and other marketingplatforms
  • Ability to work mainly during business hours and someevenings/weekends.
Required Education

Must be enrolled as a student at Belmont University. Graduate or undergraduate studies in Sports Administration, Public Health, Design, Media, Marketing, Leadership, or related health, business, communication, or educational field is preferred
