Qualifications

• Experience or ability to support students applying for visas and prepare visa documents
• Ability to perform phone, email, and text outreach
• Customer support skills for phone calls, emails, and Student Financial Services tickets
• Ability to update financial aid information and student accounts
• Ability to communicate regarding financial aid deferral processes
• Ability to maintain student account records, including name and address changes
• Ability to review consulate and relevant websites and keep website information current
• High standards of customer service when interacting with students, parents, and universities
• Ability to assist with past-due accounts and collections and arrange payments
• Ability to create and present visa procedure presentations
• Ability to guide students through visa applications and review application materials
• Ability to research student account discrepancies
• Ability to collaborate with internal program/unit managers and colleagues
• Ability to guide students and parents through financial aid transfer processes
• Ability to send enrollment verifications and consortium agreements to schools
• Ability to prepare batch visa materials
• Ability to perform other assigned duties and projects

Responsibilities

• Prepare visa documents and packets and conduct related student outreach
• Provide phone, email, text, and ticket-based customer support for Student Financial Services
• Add charges and deductions and update financial aid information on student accounts
• Communicate with students about financial aid deferrals
• Maintain and update student account records
• Review consulate and relevant websites to keep API website information current
• Assist with past-due account correspondence and collections
• Identify delinquent accounts through report review and arrange student payments
• Create and present visa procedure presentations
• Guide students through visa applications and review materials via calls, emails, tickets, and webinars
• Research student account discrepancies
• Collaborate with program/unit managers and colleagues on financial services and visa issues
• Guide students and parents through financial aid transfers
• Send enrollment verifications and consortium agreements to schools
• Prepare batch visa materials
• Perform other duties and projects as assigned
