Job summary

AVI Foodsystems is seeking a Student Dishwasher at Bob Jones University Chick-fil-A to support busy dining operations on campus. The role emphasizes efficient dishwashing, safe handling of kitchenware, and helping maintain a clean, organized kitchen environment.

As part of a team, you’ll learn standard cleaning methods, operate a dish machine or wash by hand, and assist with stocking and waste management while upholding customer service standards in a fast-paced setting.

Qualifications

• Experience with dishwashing preferred.
• Ability to lift and move heavy items.
• Knowledge of standard cleaning methods and equipment.

Responsibilities

• Wash dishes, glassware, flatware, pots, and/or pans using dish machine or by hand.
• Maintain kitchen work areas, equipment, and utensils in clean and orderly condition.
• Place clean dishes, utensils, and cooking equipment in storage areas.
• May be responsible for receiving product from vendors, organize stock.
• Sort and remove trash, placing it in designated pickup areas.
• Clean and rotate the walk-in cooler.

Requirements

• Ability to maintain a safe work environment
