Job summary

LifeWise Academy is seeking a LifeWise CDL bus driver to provide safe, reliable transportation for public school students to and from LifeWise sites. The ideal candidate is punctual, responsible, and maintains a clean driving record with a focus on student safety.

Expected duties include transporting students and volunteers, upholding traffic laws, and ensuring the bus is clean and mechanically safe. Training and background checks are required, with opportunities to support LifeWise classrooms

Qualifications

• Mature Christian faith in agreement with LifeWise beliefs.
• Active participation in a local church aligned with LifeWise faith statements.
• CDL with passenger vehicle endorsement (P) required; S endorsement preferred.
• Driver must have held license continuously for 3+ years.
• Clean driving record with no at-fault incidents in 5 years.

Responsibilities

• Transport students and LifeWise volunteers to and from LifeWise site.
• Obey traffic laws and maintain bus cleanliness and mechanical safety.
• Perform regular bus inspections and refuel as needed.
• Create and maintain a safe environment for children; enforce safety rules.
