Job summary

Hawkeye Community College's Enterprise Applications team seeks a full-time Student Systems Analyst to support the Ellucian Colleague SIS and related enterprise applications. You will troubleshoot data issues, create operational reports, test updates, and train users across campus.

You will translate technical details for non-technical staff, collaborate with departments and vendors, and help align student workflows with college objectives, strengthening campus IT services.

Responsibilities

• Provide functional/technical support for SIS and enterprise apps focusing on student processes.
• Troubleshoot data issues using system knowledge and reporting tools.
• Create/modify basic operational reports and identify user needs.
• Test changes, integrations, updates, and document results.
• Develop knowledge of SIS processes across departments and life cycle.
• Research features and help departments maximize system functionality.
• Provide user support/training and maintain system docs.
• Use reporting tools and scripting to support student processes.
• Collaborate with vendors to resolve issues and participate in committees.
