Pediatric Developmental Services (PDS) is hiring a Dedicated Student Support Specialist to assist in an amazing school setting. You will help implement IEP goals, support classroom activities, and collaborate with teachers and families to promote student growth.

Qualifications

• Experience working with K-12 children to support student learning.

Responsibilities

• Execute support in servicing the Individualized Education Plans (IEP) for each of the students in your care.
• Communicate with other staff and family members about each student's progress and struggles.
• Use individualized reinforcement techniques to keep each student on the path toward greatness.
• Support the classroom teacher in the areas of behavior reinforcement and academics.
• Create a safe, productive classroom environment.
